Opening Seminar of REACH-CSA Project was succesfully held 22 January 2020

The opening seminar of EU funded "Technical Assistance Project for Conducting Chemical Safety Assessment under REACH Regulation" was held in Ankara on 8 January 2020 with attendees from public institutions and industry representatives. The awareness of the participants was raised regarding the; objectives of the project, key messages were shared as well as useful information related to chemical sector in Turkey and in EU.

The program included opening speeches of representatives from the Department of EU Financial Assistance, Environmental Management from Ministry of Environment and Urbanization, European Union Delegation and Financial Cooperation and Project Implementation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the European Union. The program included technical speeches from the Chairman of the Board of Turkey Chemical Manufacturers Association on "Turkey and the Chemistry World Industry"; representative from RHDHV on "EU Perspective REACH and Chemical Safety Assessment"; project’s team leader on "Project Implementation Plan" and Branch Manager of Chemicals Management Department within MoEU on "Current Situation in Turkey Overview".
