"Technical Assistance for Upgrading Information and Communication Technologies of TurkStat"

Within the scope of technical assistance project, 34 technical trainings have been organized under 14 distinct training topics. Basically the training subjects are as follows: Software Quality, Software Testing and Test Processes, Software Project Management, Java EE 6.0 Innovations, Software Development and Management Techniques, Server Virtualization, Network and System Security, Operating Systems and Directory Systems, Network, Penetration Testing, Database Replication, Database Security, Program with PL/SQL, NoSQL Big Data Principles, Advanced Techniques and Efficiencies for Data Analysts, New Technologies in Database. A total of 2506 man-days of training has been held for 560 trainees.

In accordance with the project’s objective, these trainings are expected to improve the IT infrastructure and services of TurkStat to ensure more effective processes on collection, compilation and dissemination of statistical data.
